Der fast 185 Meter hohe Turm wurde f\u00fcr die Weltausstellung 1962 erbaut. Hier werden Werke des aus Tacoma stammenden K\u00fcnstlers direkt unterhalb der Space Needle in einer Dauerausstellung wundersch\u00f6n pr\u00e4sentiert. Die Hauptattraktionen sind der traditionelle Bauernmarkt Pike Place Market (F\u00fcr Fans \u00fcberteuerter Hei\u00dfgetr\u00e4nke: Der erste Starbucks der Welt liegt gleich gegen\u00fcber.) und die Waterfront am Puget Sound. Nach Marktbesuch mit Snackpause ging es mit dem letzten Schiff des Tages raus zur Hafenrundfahrt.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" Den gibt es f\u00fcr viele amerikanische St\u00e4dte, und man spart heftig bei den Eintrittgeldern (fast 50%). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P.S.
